Analysis:
Musical rhythm.
“We’re” creates a sense of unity among Jason’s readers.
Triggers curiosity. Creates tension and gives satisfying answer.
Truisms. It isn’t precise, so it lets people project themselves onto it.
Turn intangible into tangible. Turns abstract ideas into visual images. “Neurons fire and form new patterns, old beliefs fade, and maybe new, more expansive ones form.”
Simple words.
Power words: new, expansive.
Ocean image is calming, lets us imagine the sound of ocean crashes and sets the tone of the paragraph.
